Opening event @ the new scientific library in Northafen | Berlin
“CHASE THE LIGHT” is a part of an academic project developed at Politecnico di Milano which consisted not only into the design of the event but also into the design of the library itself.
The project took 5 months to be completed and the final work consisted in a series of artworks representing different scenes at the library and the main manifesto.
My task was to elaborate the visual concept of the different graphics, for the event and for the representation of the design project.
Below you can find two of the many illustrations I elaborated to represent the night at the library.
The illustrations represent the lighting effect designed for the library in Berlin. From those illustration was born the visual concept for the manifesto, which is a representation of the even in the space around the main building.
We also designed the offline material for the promotion of the event, including the manifesto (below), brochures and the invites to the opening.

I do believe all of the ideas you’ve offered for your post. They are really convincing and will definitely work. Still, the posts are very quick for newbies. May just you please extend them a little from next time? Thank you for the post.

Thank you for your feedback! You’re defenetly right, I really have to work on my writing and bringing a little more specifications in my posts. I will try for future posts to explain better the process and the design (and for the exhisting posts I will integrate the descriptions and the images!)
